Дорогие наши грузинские братья и сестры!
В эти дни, когда ваша страна готовится ко второму туру президентских выборов, мы — Демократическая Общественность Чеченцев Европы — считаем необходимым обозначить свою позицию к событиям в Грузии.
Мы видим, что грузинский народ стоит сейчас на перепутье, когда ваш следующий шаг определит судьбу не только самой Грузии, но и будущее всего Кавказа.
Грузины и Чеченцы — древние обитатели гор Кавказа, которых связывает общее прошлое и драматичное настоящее. Несмотря на то, что Кавказ находился в прицеле огромных тоталитарных империй с Севера и Юга, мы на уровне народной дипломатии берегли традиции добрососедства и чести в отношениях между нашими народами. Даже когда недругам удавалось посеять между нами рознь, наша общая историческая память находила дорогу к сердцам друг друга.
Мы, граждане оккупированной Ичкерии вынужденно проживающие вне Родины, помним о героях Грузии и Ичкерии — Звиаде Гамсахурдия и Джохаре Дудаеве — и остаемся верны их заветам об общей судьбе наших народов в борьбе за Свободный и Демократический Кавказ.
К сожалению, Россия не только не привержена принципам демократии, но и целенаправленно препятствует демократическим преобразованиям на Кавказе: силовое отделение от Грузии двух её интегральных частей — Абхазии и Самачабло — стоит в одном ряду преступлений России на Кавказе вместе с незаконной оккупацией Чеченской Республики Ичкерия…
Мы никогда не забудем 2000-й год, когда тысячи чеченских детей и женщин избежали смерти от российских бомб, найдя приют на территории Грузии. Мы благодарны народу Грузии, за предоставленную возможность беженцам-гражданам Ичкерии работать и учиться в Грузии в настоящее время…
Сегодня, видя как Россия вмешивается в выборы Президента Грузии, пытаясь любой ценой удержать во власти своих марионеток во главе с известным миллиардером из России Бидзиной Иванишвили, мы считаем своим долгом выразить нашу полную поддержку патриотическим силам Грузии, возглавляемым Григолом Вашадзе.
Мы однозначно осуждаем иностранное вмешательство в выборный процесс во время первого тура президентских выборов, обнаруживающий стремление пророссийских сил удержать Грузию в зоне влияния России.
Мы считаем, что возвращение — а все независимые аналитики констатируют почти 60-ти процентную поддержку населением Григола Вашадзе — в руководство страны патриотов будет благом и для Грузии, и для Кавказа в целом.
Мы призываем народ Грузии сплотиться и не дать российским марионеткам вредить Грузии еще пять лет. Мы с болью наблюдаем, как — однажды поддавшись лживым обещаниям одного человека — Грузия скатилась вниз по всем показателям: и в свободе слова, и в демографии, и в экономике, и в политике, и в криминогенной обстановке…
Нет сомнения в том, что победа патриотических сил — сторонников реформ Михаила Саакашвили — станет началом возврата Грузией завоеванных ею с 2003 по 2012 годы позиций — Лидера Демократических Преобразований на Кавказе, что даст новый мощный импульс демократическим устремлениям и в среде народов Северного Кавказа.
Мы верим в то, что только Свободная и Процветающая Грузия соответствует настоящим мечтам народа Грузии. А чеченскому народу, живущему сегодня под российской оккупацией, особенно важно, чтобы Факел Свободы вновь осветил наш Кавказ…
Примите нашу полную поддержку вашим устремлениям к свободе вашей страны и знайте что вы можете рассчитывать на любую нашу поддержку в вашем благородном деле: свободное избрание президента и продолжение демократического курса.

Appeal to georgian politicians, public figures and organizations, people of Georgia.
Dear Georgian brothers and sisters!
As your country is preparing for the second round of presidential elections, we, the Democratic Community of the Chechens of Europe, consider it necessary to express our position on the events in Georgia.
We see that the Georgian people are now at a crossroads: your next step will not only determine the fate of Georgia itself, but also the future of the whole Caucasus.
Georgians and Chechens are ancient inhabitants of the Caucasus Mountains, linked by a common past and a dramatic present. Despite the fact that the Caucasus has long been in the sight of huge totalitarian empires from the North and the South, we — at the level of public diplomacy — upheld the traditions of good-neighborliness and honor in relations between our peoples. Even when outside enemies managed to sow discord between us, our common historical memory always found a way to each other’s hearts.
We, citizens of occupied Ichkeria, forcedly living outside the Motherland, remember the heroes of Georgia and Ichkeria — Zviad Gamsakhurdia and Dzhokhar Dudayev — and remain faithful to their precepts on the common fate of our peoples in the struggle for a free and democratic Caucasus.
Unfortunately, Russia is not only non-committed to the principles of democracy, but also deliberately impedes democratic transformations in the Caucasus: the forceful separation from Georgia of its two integral parts — Abkhazia and Samachablo — stands in the same row as Russia’s crimes in the Caucasus and illegal occupation of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
Dear Georgians! We will never forget the year 2000, when thousands of Chechen children and women escaped death from Russian bombs by finding shelter in Georgia. We are grateful to the people of Georgia for the opportunity given to these refugees-citizens of Ichkeria- to work and study in your country at present.
Today, as we can see how Russia intervenes in the Georgian presidential election — trying to keep its puppets led by the infamous Russian oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili at any cost — we consider it our duty to express our full support to the patriotic forces of Georgia headed by Grigol Vashadze.
We urge all Georgians and the international observers to ensure fair and transparent Presidential elections on November 28.
We unequivocally condemn foreign intervention in the electoral process, which reveals the desire of pro-Russian forces to keep Georgia in the Russian zone of influence — against the will of the Georgian people.
Independent analysts project almost 60 % support for Grigol Vashadze among the Georgian electorate. We believe that the return of patriots to Georgia’s leadership will be a blessing, both for Georgia and for the Caucasus as a whole.
We urge the people of Georgia to stand up for the future of your Homeland and not allow the Russian puppets to harm Georgia for another five years, through their candidate Salome Zurabishvili.
We are watching with pain how, since succumbing to the false promises of Ivanishvili in 2012, Georgia has declined in all indicators: in freedom of speech, in demography, in the economy, in politics, in the criminal environment…
There is no doubt that the victory of the patriotic forces — supporters of the reforms of Mikheil Saakashvili — in this election will catalyze Georgia’s return to the time of rapid development and greater independence from Russia that your country experienced from 2003 to 2012. In that period, Saakashvili emerged as the undisputed leader of democratic transformations in the Caucasus, and a revival of his legacy of reform will give a new powerful impetus to the democratic aspirations among the peoples of the North Caucasus.
We believe that only a free, prosperous, independent, and democratic Georgia corresponds to the true dreams of the Georgian people.
For the Chechen people living today under the Russian occupation or in exile, it is especially important that the torch of freedom will again illuminate our Caucasus.
Please accept our full support for your aspirations for the freedom of your country, and know that you can count on our support in your noble cause: the free elections of the president, the peaceful transition of power, and the continuation of the democratic course in Georgia.
